Why are private donations so critical? They provide general operating support that gives us flexibility to work on statewide issues impacting youth, to build capacity in communities without adequate services for youth, and to work creatively to include youth in fulfilling our mission.

Gifts of stocks and bonds are easy and tax deductible.  For stock gifts that are held by your broker or bank, please call TeamChild at (206) 322-2444.  We will provide you with our account information.

Katie Stelter-Belisle Memorial Fund

As a committed child and family advocate, Katie Stelter Belisle served on TeamChild's Board of Directors for six years and devoted 15 years representing youth and families in the dependency division of Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons, a King County public defense agency.  Katie had an incredible commitment to young people.  Her young clients saw the best of Katie – her silliness, her compassion, her understanding, and intelligence.  Her clients trusted her and believed in her as much as she did in them.

We are grateful and humbled that her family has asked that remembrances and memorials be sent to TeamChild to honor her passion and work on behalf of children.  She will always be a part of TeamChild and we are inspired to follow her example by continuing to be staunch advocates for children.
