Record Sealing

Sealing Your Juvenile Record in Washington State

Juvenile records are not automatically sealed. If a person meets several eligibility requirements, they can make a request to the juvenile court that processed their conviction to seal the record.

Watch this video for general information.

For more information about eligibility, refer to Sealing Juvenile Court Records in Washington State which includes sample court forms (it is also available on the Washington LawHelp site).

Ready to get the process going?  Follow these steps.
