I would ask for help but the teacher would tell me to ask another student. 11) They did not give me any work 12) No 13) No they said the would give me work but they didn’t

Did you ever quit going to school for a long time or drop out?
Explain why you quit going? 1) Yes because I was hanging out with the wrong crowd 2) Yeah because I was tired of going through the same staff every time I walked into school. 3) Yes I was coming to jail to much and missed to much stuff and gave up on school. 4) Yea, because all my teachers were looking down on me and they were to hard on me. 5) Yes because it kept getting suspended so i just said F*#K it and stopped goin. 6) Because I wasn’t usually home or near school and I was preoccupied with other things going on in my life. And I took off out of severial times 7) Yes I did
at my freshman year. I couldn’t take the drama, the drugs the
gangs and me moving backwards instead of forward, and being
labeled!! So I did school for 3 months and it was hell. I was
failing 8) No 9) Yes I have dropped out of school for about a half a year because I had a lot of failing grades and I didn’t think I could make it or go any farther with my education. 10) No but my
friend died and I kinda skipped school for a whole 2 weeks. They did
not help me catch up. They wanted me to come after school but that
interfered with my sports. My gradees started 11) No. 12) No 13) I thought about it because it is too much work to catch up. I wanted to drop out but I didn't.
1) They can start more programs after school so that kids can have some options of what they want to do. More teachers assistants because some kids need more attention Support groups helping you, being there for you- more than just academics. 2) Try to understand us not get us in trouble. Reporting us for everything we do doesn’t help. I don’t understand why they think their being so helpful when their just helping themselves. 3) Not suspend kids so much. If a kid has a record don’t treat them differently 4) More help even when i asked for help teachers didn’t want to help. 5) Try 2 help them a lil more instead of just kickin' em out 6) I think
they should teach how to make better decision making or only suspend for
fighting or physical acts for safety issues but suspension for drugs,
stealing skipping etc is just dumb because that gives 7) Support. Listen. 8) I think if the school could have more activities and after school programs and more attention from the teachers. 9) In more
trouble prone area where schools are located, schools can have or
incorporate a kind of rehabilitation grop during or after school that
can persuade kids to follow the right track. School may also 9) I think the Schools should give the misbehaving students in house suspension or detention just instead of suspending them ... because when they suspend them all they do is take away their learning. 10) In Atlanta before you get suspended you can choose to sit and talk and settle the conflict instead of getting suspended. I liked that. 11) Hey, can give kids detention. Make deals with kids so they behave better. 12) In-school detention 13) Give them 2 days of detention. at least there still in school and they are getting their work done.
