Forward to the Future: 30 Years of Youth Justice celebrates three decades of TeamChild pushing boundaries, amplifying youth voice, and building a justice system rooted in healing, dignity, and possibility. Join us to honor where we began, celebrate how far we’ve come, and look boldly toward a future where every young person experiences belonging, opportunity, and justice.
A Note from our Executive Director
Calling all current, former, and future colleagues, partners, funders and co-conspirators! 2026 marks 30 years of TeamChild, and I would love to celebrate this milestone with you! Each of you has contributed so much to the lives of young people, to advance more just systems that support youth and their families. And along the way, you all made working together such a joy! Please come reminisce about meeting clients at libraries, Starbucks, basketball courts, family living rooms, as well as courthouses and jails. Share tall tales about the thrilling athleticism of our colleagues' softball plays in the lawyers' league. Revel in the many ways we connected with community partners from karaoke to KYR trainings. Laugh about the ways our clients and colleagues made us smile.
We will catch up with folks from our 3 decades of work, and you can also meet some of the folks who will continue this work for the next 3 decades.
I am grateful to have walked alongside each of you in this very vital and challenging work. I hope you are taking care and staying kind!
